The serrated Sickle knife from Pro Horto is ideal for all kinds of landscape and gardening tasks including cutting Flax, Bird of Paradise, Toe Toe, Tussock, and even sod for planting etc.
Very similar in style to the standard Pro Horto Flax Knives, except this model has a more rugged finish, and features a longer 24cm blade and heavy-duty curved handle for improved grip. While the wooden handle grip is shorter than the other options it is designed for heavier work and is secured to the blade with 3 sturdy pins instead of the usual 2 light-duty options.
Manufactured using high carbon steel for the blade. Very fine teeth are ground into the blade to assist in the effective cutting of fibrous plants.
