Super lightweight and made from top-quality Japanese High Carbon Steel the Maruyoshi blade is tempered to give long lasting durability and features a special 'back bar' designed to add even more strength to the blade.
This is a Flax knife it is not a wood saw and should not be used in a sawing or hacking motion on Trees (wood) or any other hard plant material (Branches etc).
The serrated blade works by pulling the blade towards you and is designed to be used only on fibrous plants.
