The Cold Steel Rifleman's Hawk Tomahawk features a drop-forged 1055 carbon steel head, a factory-honed cutting edge and an American hickory handle.
The head is differentially heat treated: the cutting edge and hammer face are fully hardened, while the rest of the head is left relatively soft to absorb impact. Its traditional American hammer-head-style butt can be used for hammering stakes.
